Resilience & Renewal

A 3-Part Mind-Body Series for Stress, Burnout & Regulation

Where nervous-system science meets therapeutic practice

A collaboration between Evolve Yoga Lounge and Wildly Whole Counseling

If you spend your days caring for everyone else, this series is a chance to turn that care toward yourself.

Resilience & Renewal is a three-part experience that pairs the science of the nervous system with gentle, hands-on practices for coming back to calm. Each session blends education, breath and movement, and a different evidence-informed therapeutic approach — then closes the same way every time: a restorative practice and a 432 Hz sound bath, so you always leave settled, resourced, and back in your body.

You can join a single workshop or move through all three. The parts stand on their own, but they're designed to build — moving from regulating the nervous system, to expressing what lives in the body, to reconnecting with the steadier self underneath the stress.

The Three Parts

Part 1 — Regulate: Calming the Nervous System
Learn how your nervous system responds to stress and discover simple, research-backed tools to calm it. Drawing from EMDR-informed practices, we'll explore gentle bilateral (left-right) movement and breathing techniques that help your body shift out of stress — then close with a restorative yoga practice and 432 Hz sound bath to send you home settled and resourced.

Part 2 — Reconnect: Getting to Know Your Inner Parts
Beneath the burnout and busyness, there's a calmer, steadier version of you. Inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS), we'll explore the inner parts that drive our stress responses and practice meeting them with curiosity instead of judgment — then close the series with an extended restorative yoga practice and 432 Hz sound bath, the deepest rest of the three sessions.

Part 3 - Express: Creative Practices for Emotional Release
Sometimes stress lives beyond words — in the body, in tension, in things we can't quite name. Inspired by expressive arts therapy, we'll use art, movement, and creative process as a low-pressure, no-experience-needed outlet for what you've been carrying — then unwind with a restorative yoga practice and 432 Hz sound bath.

What Every Session Includes

Each workshop is a live, in-person, two-hour experience on a Saturday afternoon, from 2:00–4:00 PM. Every session weaves together nervous-system teaching, somatic breath and movement, a hands-on experiential practice, and a closing restorative practice with a 432 Hz sound bath — so you're never sent home activated, always grounded.

Because the experiential work is personal, the group is kept intentionally small and intimate, limited to 12 spots.

A printed take-home toolkit — a nervous-system guide, practice cards, and templates to keep the work going at home

Refreshments — water, tea, and light snacks

Who It's For

This series was designed with wellness and helping professionals in mind — the people who give so much of themselves to others — but it's open and accessible to any adult who's feeling stretched thin and wants practical, body-based tools for stress and burnout. No yoga experience, art experience, or therapy background needed.

Why It Works: One Thread Through All Three

A single scientific thread runs through the whole series. Each approach is a different doorway into the same nervous system: EMDR-informed work uses rhythm and gentle bilateral movement; expressive arts uses nonverbal, creative processing; IFS uses curiosity and self-connection. All three are ways of helping your nervous system move out of stress and back toward regulation — which is why we teach the underlying physiology up front and return to it in every session.

There's a reason it's a series and not a one-off. Your nervous system learns through repetition. A single workshop can bring real relief; returning to a calm, regulated state again and again is what actually widens your capacity to get there on your own. Each session strengthens the pathway that makes the next return easier.

Your Facilitators

Nikki — Owner, Evolve Yoga Lounge. Nikki leads the nervous-system teaching, breathwork, and somatic movement in every session, and guides the closing restorative practice and 432 Hz sound bath. She sets the calm, regulating container the whole series is built on.

Allison, LPC — Wildly Whole Counseling. A Licensed Professional Counselor, Allison leads the therapeutic teaching and guides the experiential practices, holding the clinical and ethical frame so the work stays safe, supportive, and within scope.

A Note on What This Is

These are educational, experiential workshops — a chance to learn concepts and try gentle, self-directed tools — not group therapy or a substitute for individual treatment. Everything is invitational: you set your own pace, share only what feels comfortable, and can rest or opt out of any practice at any time. For anyone who wants to go deeper, referrals to trained clinicians are always available.
